UK consumers join Nano lawsuit

Consumers from both the UK and Mexico have joined a legal battle against Apple. The lawsuit is over the allegedly defective screens on the new iPod Nano mp3 players.

The lawsuit claims that Nano's screen problems are due to a design flaw. They believe Apple were aware of the issue, but decided to ignore the problem and rushed to release the player into UK shops.

Consumers believe the resin used to surround the Nano's shell is much thinner than on other iPod models. Apple have already offered to replace defective screens on a small batch of early Nano players.
